Hi everybody. Today our world is smaller and more interconnected than ever before. And it presents us with an extraordinary opportunity: to connect with people in some of the remote corners of the globe and show them that America is paying attention, that we care and that we are here to help. That’s what the Peace Corps is all about.
Life as a Peace Corps Volunteer isn’t always easy but for many Americans it is a life changing experience. One that offers a chance to live and work in communities around the world, tackling some of the most pressing challenges of our time.
Right now Peace Corps Volunteers are working with small business owners in Moldova, teaching English in Peru, bringing clean drinking water to schools in Zambia and they’re gaining skills and experience that will stay with them for the rest of their lives, no matter what they choose to do.
So if you are looking for a way to serve, think about joining more than 200,000 Americans who have worked as Peace Corps Volunteers in over 100 countries. Together we can make a difference, together we can make this world a better place for all of us.
