Today’s tour of the Swiss countryside included the Choleren Gorge, with lots of waterfalls. We also saw a looong suspension bridge and Lake Thun.

We got out of the city and headed to Daniel and Ariane’s chalet in the mountains. We spent the day hiking up in the Adelboden Ski Area.

Thomas, along with his daughter Hannah, took me on a tour of Lucerne, Switzerland. We had a really good time even though the sun never came out.

With Daniel and Ariane, we went sight-seeing in Bern, Switzerland. It was a gloomy day so the pictures aren’t that great but it was a fun day out.

Headed to Switzerland. I got almost to the airport when I realized I didn’t have it. Went all the way back and still was able to make my flight.

Besides getting tourists’ photos, I took a trip to visit some Camino de Santiago friends, Jill and Syd at their home in Leigh-on-Sea in Sussex.

Left Plum Village by train to Bordeaux where I caught a flight to London. I was going to spend a few days visiting my cousin, Jeff, and his family.

Even though I was just beginning to get a handle on my Spanish while in Spain, I started to learn French. We’ll see if the languages help or hurt each other
