Ani Gyalmo had some special summer visitors

Now is a time of summer visitors. This last week, Ani Gyalmo’s daughter, and first granddaughter arrived for a few week visit. Poppie is one of the most happy babies I’ve ever seen. Always smiling and an adventurous soul because she doesn’t care on bit if she’s passed around to complete strangers. She loves it. The whole family will head out to the countryside so I’ll practically have the whole center to myself. Yippie!

And it looks like my earlier plans of having a vegetable garden are just not going to happen. So, I decided instead of giving up, to just ‘scale down’ my plans. So, now I have a small windowsill garden with green peppers, parsley, oregano, and basil. Also working on getting some starters going so Tsetsgee and I can have plants in our classrooms.

And decided I still want to tackle the backyard, such as it is. I’ve come up with a plan that should be easy for those in the future to take care of but still allow for growing some vegetables or flowers. Plus it should make a nice meditation spot. Just to give you an idea of what I’m up against, here’s a “before” picture I took yesterday.
