Just some random pics from Lama Zopa’s award dinner for the Mongolian Polar Star, and of my students at the end of the semester party.

Lama Zopa decided to clear his schedule and stayed in Mongolia for a month, giving teachings and meeting people. On his last day, we went out to a restaurant.

When Ven. Gyatso was here, he planted marigolds and sunflowers. But now, it was a sad garden. So, I decided it needed some loving care. And here is the result.

The iPod Touch is simply amazing. It’s like a mini-computer. All in a wafer the size of less than half a deck of cards. And I got to meet Richard Gere.

Really only got out of the city one day with Tsetsgee’s family as we went to the Chingis Khan statue outside of UB. Nice weather with wonderful people.

Now is a time of summer visitors. Ani Gyalmo’s daughter, and first granddaughter arrived for a visit. Poppie is one of the most happy babies I’ve ever seen.

Munguu, our office manager, got an incredible new job offer (at double the salary). We are sad to see her go but we are so grateful for everything she has done.
