My host family took me, Kailei, Angela and Lydia to Wat Pa temple, an old temple in Suphan Buri, The locals call it “Wat Pa”, which means to Temple of Forest.

Peace Corps Thailand Group 126 TCCS volunteers put on “Fun in the Classroom” Teacher Training Camp for about 100 local English teachers at Wat Dao School.

We took a day trip to Bangkok to test out our language skills on the transportation systems of Thailand and to visit the PC headquarters. We all loved it!

All of the volunteers joined together to put on an English & Life Skills camp for 200 6th graders from 8 different schools. A fun day for everyone!

My host family took Kailei and I to visit a temple called Wat Kun In. It was a beautiful temple complex and very busy. We had a wonderful day seeing the sights.

We had our first English teaching practicum at Bang Mae Mai primary school. We would pair up, one teaching while the other one observes. It was a good day.

Thai Day was when we got to learn more about Thai culture, specifically dance and music. And food! The volunteers put on some “American” performances too.

My host father took my host sister and me to an Alligator Show near their house. It was kind of a “Harlem Globetrotters” version if they trained alligators.
