My picture was in The Leader – NOLS East Africa

If you go to the very bottom of my ‘adventure’ list, you will see the very first thing I did was go to Kenya for a National Outdoor Leadership School semester course. I didn’t know it at the time, but it was to change my life in ways I would have never imagined, a life that has led me to a very different path indeed.

A while back, NOLS Headquarters called me to say they were starting a new NOLS school in Tanzania (NOLS Kenya was closed 10 years ago) and they wanted to use one of my photographs from my trip. I said sure, no problem. And while I have to wait till August to see a paper copy, below are the pages about NOLS Tanzania, along with my picture.
