A few pictures of village life (April 2014)

Just wanted to post some pictures of village life here in Thailand from April.

Mali holds her new grandniece, with mother Gi looking on.
Went out to my family’s other house to feed the chickens.
A group of women, including my host mom, cutting bananas to make candies to sell.
Another neighbor cracking nuts.
Drying out the rice before planting.
Making lumber out of trees with a huge circular saw.
Everyone’s favorite food here in Isaan region – bugs!

Have you ever eaten roasted bugs? What did you think? Let me know in the comments, I’d really like to know. 🙂
